Welcome to Maa, a modern family-owned mill with cutting-edge technology and a strong environmental profile. We have been in operation on the West Coast of Sweden since 1951. 

We employ 40 staff from our local villages, and we are the sole or main clients of several additional local companies. Our close-knit community networks and efficient routines make us an outstandingly lean organization, with minimal bureaucracy and waste. Ninety percent of our suppliers grow their lumber within thirty kilometers of our lumberyard, and our close proximity to the freight harbors of Varberg and Falkenberg makes our transports short: adding both cost-efficiency and environmental benefits. -If you are looking for lumber products produced with the environment and human capital in mind, delivered at a competitive price due to efficient processes and minimal waste; then consider us as your supplier.

We are closely connected to our local community, the land on which they depend for their livelihood -and where we found the beauties below. 

We can deliver any dimension and profile in raw and kiln-dried lumber. If you are looking for planed wood our sister company Panel & List Älvsered AB will mind the finishes for you. We can also deliver a wide range of bi-products like shavings, mulch and chips.
